About Us
Our founder, Michael, suffered a traumatic brain injury after he and his wife, Heather, were waiting at a stop light, and a suicidal driver plowed into the back of their car at more than 80 mph.
​​​​​​​​​Michael was ejected from the vehicle and after the accident, he had severe memory, speech, and other issues related to his TBI. Michael feared he would never be able to return to work as a managing attorney.

As avid mushroom foragers, Michael and Heather knew about the healing power of mushrooms, so when improvement in his symptoms plateaued, he turned to mushrooms to help his TBI recovery. Michael began growing his own mushrooms at home, designing the ideal growing environment in a tidy and compact box.
After many iterations and improvements on his original design, the SHROOMBOX was born! Michael was able to take his health into his own hands, experience improvement in his TBI symptoms, and return to work as an attorney. Now, Eternal Kingdom Mushrooms wants to help those who are looking to experience the benefits of growing your own mushrooms for themselves!
