SHROOMBOX Humidifier Troubleshooting Guide

Humidifier performance issues are not uncommon, but in almost every case, they are simple to resolve. If your unit is not producing mist, the following steps will help you quickly identify and correct the issue.

1. Reset the Water Atomizer

During shipping or regular use, the humidifier’s internal water atomizer (the small metal disc inside the unit) can occasionally shift. This movement can prevent mist from forming.

To reset it::

1. Unplug the humidifier from power.

5. Plug the unit back in and check for mist. If it does not start, repeat the process and tap a few more times.

These actions resolve most issues related to mist production.

2. Verify the Water Level

For proper operation, the water level inside the reservoir must be within the recommended range.

  • If the level is too high (over the blue line), the humidifier may stop producing mist.

  • If the level is too low (no mist is forming), the unit will not operate.

Check and adjust the water level to ensure it is within the correct range for operation.

3. Additional Support

If tapping the atomizer and adjusting the water level do not restore function, please email us for further assistance.

Most humidifier interruptions are caused by either a misaligned atomizer or an incorrect water level. Both issues are simple to correct and will usually restore normal misting immediately. Your SHROOMBOX will continue to function properly once these adjustments are made.
